Hydrangea - Marshmallow - Gravelroot
Hydrangea / Marshmallow / Gravel Root (Bulk). Hydrangea grows up to 9 feet tall, and is found in woodlands and along stream banks in southeastern and central North America. Originally used by the Cherokee Indians in the form of a root decoction or tea as a remedy for occasional minor kidney complaints, Hydrangea became popular with early American settlers for similar therapeutic purposes. Today in Japan, a popular Hydrangeatea called ama-cha is an infusion beverage made from tea leaves and Hydrangea petals. This valuable herb contains chromium, manganese, selenium, silicon, flavonoids, resins and saponins. Hydrange’s solvent properties may nutritionally support the normal cleansing function of the urinary system.
Marshmallow Root has high mucilage content, making it an appropriate supplement for supporting the normal functioning of the respiratory system. Marshmallow Root also has a soothing effect on inflamed and irritated tissues of the alimentary canal and urinary tract, and may support the body’s natural tendency to release kidney stones.
Gravel Root has been used traditionally as an astringent tonic and to help support the normal functioning of the kidneys and urinary tract.
